Congratulations to everyone! It has been my pleasure to serve you in my capacity as President over the past two and half years; we've had some great experiences and even better friendships. In closing, I’ll leave you with a quote that I try every day to live by; Mark Twain has been purported to have penned the following: Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.
I wish you success in all your future endeavors! Sincerely, Nathan -- Nathan Biller, President Emeritus Grand Valley Economics Club

We have an exciting opportunity for you to be a part of; our very own Professor Dan Giedeman will be hosting the Economic & Business Historical Society's Annual meeting this year at the Amway Hotel in downtown GR. As such this is the Econ Club's first ever opportunity to attend! Additionally Professor Giedeman is in need of volunteers to help out at the conference. The conference runs from Thursday, April 23 through Saturday, April 25. The two most important times we can help out are Thursday from 7:30 until about 4:00 and Friday from about 7:30-12:00. If you'd like to attend and are willing to help out, please let me know ASAP. As long as I know very soon you're name will appear in the program. Additionally anyone who volunteers gets to attend the conference sessions for free. You don't need to volunteer for both days or the entire time. I was thinking we could have three groups of two people to help out, so please let me know your availalbility when responding. Their website is at http://www.ebhsoc.org/ if you want to take a look. Please e-mail me back at
